I never wanted to stand out. Flying under the radar was more my style.

Then a few years ago I became a Mama Bird on the brink of having an empty nest. I started to wonder if I was made for more. An empty nest will do that to you. You are forced to have a growth mindset because things are changing whether you like it or not.

But how do you grow when you have no idea how to even dream? You surround yourself with people who see greatness in everyone, who are real, who will hold your hand along the way.

I’m proud to say I’m no longer afraid to stand out. The woman I am today is a version I didn’t even know existed. She is the version that decided to stop hiding, to stand in her flaws and to use her gifts to light up this world.

How did you get to be so successful?

Success is just on the other side of fear.... I had to get out of my own way and borrow the belief of others till I could see in me what they did.

What kind of training did you need?

There was no particular training, but instead the idea of how the training felt... who were the people putting it on and attending, where was it, did it spark curiosity?

I knew I wanted to grow, I just needed to find the right "fertilizer of friends" to move me forward faster... so I could grow bigger... and be able to live a life helping promote body positivity, confidence, and the undeniable desire in all of us to stand out!

So to answer the question... The kind of training I needed was every kind that connected me to my people.

Why did you choose to host your work on Podia?

Technology is not my thing... people are. So I don't pretend to care about what logo is on my laptop or cellphone. I am lucky enough to have a spouse who does care about everything technology so if you're looking for help in this area you should see what he's doing over at SWIRLtogether.org.

Podia was recommended as an easy to use "all-in-one" platform that empowered me to start sharing my hard earned knowledge of network marketing, social media, and graphic art in a way that offered an additional revenue stream - digital courses.
